From the Chair
Happy New Year! 2013 started for us, as I'm sure it did for many of you, very, very busy. In the past month, the Council completed two major projects - the QRIS Strategic Plan and the Texas Core Competencies for Early Childhood Practitioners and Administrators. Texas Early Childhood Professional Development System

We also have several new resources that will be posted on our website in the next few weeks:
Did you know that the Council has a statewide early childhood calendar on our website? The calendar features opportunities for early childhood stakeholders, especially parents, professionals, and policymakers, to participate in national, state, and local early childhood events, including meetings, conferences, and conventions. If you have an event to include on the calendar, please Contact Us. Thank you for helping us expand our new early childhood calendar and check back often to view upcoming events!
