2011 Plenary Session Feedback Report

On July 14, 2011, the Council hosted the 2011 Texas Early Childhood Leadership Summit Plenary Session in Austin. At the Plenary Session, the Council collected over 600 feedback surveys for a series of 8 questions about early childhood in Texas and the Council's projects to improve school readiness. The Council has been analyzing this feedback from early childhood stakeholders to determine if the Council's efforts are on track with the early childhood field. Community Feedback

The Texas Early Learning Council is currently developing a comprehensive, online professional development system for early childhood professionals in Texas. This system, the Texas Early Childhood Professional Development System (TECPDS), will feature a new workforce registry, trainer registry, new core competencies, new career ladder, and training, education, and employment resources. What features would you like to see on the new professional development system?
