Infant, Toddler, and Three-Year-Old Early Learning Guidelines Training Modules

The Texas Infant, Toddler, and Three-Year-Old Early Learning Guidelines were written to help child care providers and parents know what children should know and be able to do at different ages. The Guidelines list skills and abilities that young children might do at different ages, as well as activities that caregivers can do to support optimal development.  The Texas Early Learning Council developed these Guidelines with hopes that they would be used by parents and child care providers in all settings across Texas.  You can download a copy of the Guidelines in English, Spanish, and Vietnamese at: www.littletexans.org

The Texas Infant, Toddler, and Three-Year-Old Early Learning Guidelines Training Modules were updated in 2015! Please visit the Children's Learning Institute's website to download the newly-updated materials.

The training modules cover important information in each of the four developmental domains featured in the Guidelines. These modules were developed to assist trainers as they provide trainings to child care providers on the Infant, Toddler, and Three-Year-Old Early Learning Guidelines. Each module features a Facilitator Guide, Participant Guide, and a PowerPoint Presentation for trainers to use in their training.
